Ashley Pusey, an associate at Kennedys’ New York office, focuses her practice in incident response and privacy compliance. Ashely helps guide clients through the advent of successful cyberattacks, including ransomware, zero day compromises, and phishing fraud, with a particular focus on the SME market. She also advises corporate clients on privacy compliance under complex regulatory landscapes, including HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR. She assists clients address such issues as online tracking, privacy disclosures, and cross-border data transfers. Ashley also has extensive experience in managing privacy programs across diverse sectors.
Her professional journey began with a unique blend of interests, sparked by the intersection of fashion and technology, particularly wearable tech and smart fabrics. This fascination led Ashley to delve deeper into privacy and security, including emerging implications of data integrity and ethical AI practices.
Adam Weissman is a media & entertainment lawyer and the founder of Weissman Law. His approach balances thorough knowledge of the law with a clear understanding of his clients’ needs and their industries.Drawing insight from his past work as an associate in a litigation firm, fighting for his clients and resolving complex disputes, and ongoing creative pursuits, Adam focuses on figuring out practical solutions while never losing sight of the big picture.
A leading voice on social media law, having worked in it since the early days of the industry, Adam previously served as general counsel for Nylon through its transition from print to digital, as well as Socialyte, a digital marketing agency and pioneer in the influencer space.

Lee Peretz is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Farrell Fritz, P.C., a full-service law firm with five offices across New York. With nearly two decades of professional services marketing and business development experience, Lee has worked tirelessly alongside lawyers and other professionals empowering them to communicate more effectively and meaningfully with clients. Lee has focused on developing efficient and effective organizational strategy and high performing teams. Often referred to as a dot-connector and passionate “Go-Giver,” Lee focuses on helping others.
Lee is active in the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) and currently serves as Vice Chair on the LMA-NY Local Steering Committee. He is also a board member of Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp (a sleepaway camp in the Berkshires) and a member of the Long Island Regional Council for Junior Achievement of New York. Lee was a member of the Long Island Business News 40 Under 40 – Class of 2021. He was honored as the LMA-NY Member of the Year in 2023, and has received other awards and recognition of his work and service to others throughout his career, including from the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) and the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI).
